We all have behaviours that we're not aware of, but others are. These are called blind spots.
Blind spots can have a positive or negative impact on the people around us. Either way, we don't want them (sorry blind spots, you're not wanted here).
Yesterday evening I asked my girlfriend what my blind spots are. She said the following (brace yourselves 😬):
"After work, you can be a little grumpy."
"You are quite a good singer, actually."
So, how do we get rid of them? We ask the people around us.
🏆 Your challenge 🏆
Ask the following question: "what is my blind spot?"
To:
🤝 Your closest colleague, or if you prefer, manager.
🤗 A close friend or family member.
Your response must be: "thank you." And that's it.
What do you notice?
1️⃣ Are both answers the same?
2️⃣ Is it what you expected?
3️⃣ Did you learn anything about yourself?
Good luck!
